The 19th International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities (ICDRA) 2024 took place from October 14-18, 2024, in New Delhi, India. Hosted by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), the conference focused on strengthening global regulatory systems, harmonization, and access to quality medical products. 

Dr Ranjit Chavan had the privilege of meeting with the Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC) team, Director and Chief Executive Officer, Peter Hjelmstrom, and Head of Communications, Gerard Ross. Regulatory authorities from 120 countries participated in the conference, making it a significant global event for discussing and strengthening regulatory systems.
